In order to prevent feedback, position monitor loudspeakers so that they are located in the angle area of the highest cancellation of the microphone. In order to prevent interference due to crosstalk between adjacent sound sources, try to position the microphone so that the interfering sound source is located in the angle area of the highest cancellation of the microphone (approx. 135°; see polar diagram). 14 Polar diagram ° 30° 5 10 60° 15 20 25 90° dB 90° 60° 30° 120° 120° 150° 150° 180° 125 250 500 1000 Hz Hz Hz Hz 2000 4000 8000 16000 Hz Hz Hz Hz Frequency response curve dBv - 40 - 50 - 60 - 70 - 80 - 90 20 50 100 200 500 1000 2000 5000 10000 20000 Hz 0°, 1 m 0°, 5 cm 15 Specifications Transducer principle Frequency response Pick-up pattern Sensitivity (free field, no load at 1 kHz) Nominal impedance Min. sound pressure level at 1 kHz Phantom powering Connector Weight Dimensions pre-polarised condenser microphone 40. . . . . 20. 000 Hz super-cardioid 3 mV/Pa 200 (balanced) 100 (unbalanced) 1 k 150 dB/SPL 1252 V / 3 mA XLR-3 311 g Ø 47 x L 193 mm 16 Overview of microphone applications Variant Application Vocals Choirs Studio, acoustic instruments Orchestra Brass / Saxophone Acoustic guitar Acoustic bass Guitar amplifiers Bass amplifiers Leslie Piano, grand piano Kick drums Snare drums Rack toms Floor toms Congas Cymbals Percussion Overheads x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x e602 e604 e606 e608 e614 e815 e825 e835 e840 x e845 x x x x 17 e865 x 18 Konformitätserklärung Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co.
